MATERIALS
− 94cm (37in) square of beige drill fabric for centre and embroidery backed with Sheer Magic Plus
− 190.5cm x 114cm (75in x 45in) burgundy lining fabric
− Template Magic printable sheets to print placement templates
1 On the 37in square of beige drill fabric, use the fabric-marking pen and quilting ruler to mark:
− 51/2in from the cut fabric edge on all four sides
− mark lines parallel to the edge of the fabric that pass through these points to mark a 311/2in square
− on the marked 31 /2in square, measure

out 121/2in on each side of a corner and mark. Repeat this for the diagonally opposite corner
− mark vertical lines through the 121/2in marks that intersect the sides of the marked 311/2in square.
2 Use the design software to and design CDs to:
− print design D153-39 and D153-39 mirrored Template Magic printable sheets
− select butterfly design 220315 and use the Edit screen to reduce the size to 98mm wide x 70mm high and save it as 220315a.
− combine two butterfly designs 220315a and 220315a mirrored in one screen, save this combination design as Butterfly3.
Use the transfer device to transfer all designs in step No 2 and 220303 to the machine.
EMBROIDERY
3 Use Hoop Magic self-adhesive stabiliser in the hoop to embroider design D153-39 and D153-39 mirrored one on each side of diagonally opposite corners using 2250 Pistachio thread for colours No 1 and No 2 and 2317 Olive Drab for colour No 3.
4 Repeat step No 3 so two aligned designs are stitched on each side of diagonally opposite corners using the design templates printed on Template Magic to position the second design so the two designs appear as one large design.
5 Use Dissolve Magic hooped with nylon organza to embroider:
− two, Butterfly3 design using 2337
Espresso thread
− two, 220303 design using the blue thread colour chart as for the bottle bag
− two, 220303 design using the following red thread colour chart:

6 Use the Embroidered Découpage technique to remove the excess fabric and stabiliser from the outside edge of the embroidery and wash the stabiliser from the embroidery.
7 Use Invisa Sheer thread to attach the two butterflies from design Butterfly3, and one each of colour of design 220303 on each corner of the 311/2in marked square on the beige drill fabric.
8 Use the rotary cutter, self-healing cutting mat and quilting ruler to:
− square up the embroidered 37in beige drill square to 36in
− cut four, 41/2in strips across the width of the burgundy fabric for the tablecloth borders.
9 Use the 1/4in patchwork foot to attach the burgundy fabric borders to the edges of the 36in embroidered beige drill square mitring the corners.
