PREPARATION
1 Iron the Sheer Magic Plus to the back of the fabric for the outside of the bag and the handles to stabilise the fabric and to add a higher thread count to the fabric for embroidery.

2 The bottle bag Burda pattern No 8125 is a square bag with the handles on the front and back, with the main embroidery on the sides. Use the paper scissors to cut out the pattern pieces. Place pattern pieces G18 (bag sides mark two) and G17 (bag front, base and back to which the handle will be stitched) over the beige drill fabric and use the fabric-marking pen to trace around
3 Use the fabric-marking pen to mark the front, base and back areas on the fabric on pattern piece G17. Mark vertical and horizontal lines that intersect through the centre of the front and back fabric areas (to be embroidered) on pattern piece G17, and repeat for the two sides G18. Also mark the two G18 pattern pieces for the sides A and B and the pattern piece G17 front and back.
4 Cut out all other pattern pieces according to the pattern instructions. Also cut out lining for the bag.
