Michelle discovered her love of sewing as a young teenager, receiving a sewing machine and lessons as a gift from her mother. Who would have guessed that this gift would eventually lead Michelle into the world of sewing, quilting and embroidery now being a well recognised designer. Michelle and her husband David have been running Michelle’s Designs since 2001 and can be seen at all the major shows around the US.

Delighting in teaching, lecturing and the written word, Michelle takes pride in her well thought-out directions, geared so the student can easily follow them while learning and gaining confidence at the same time.

We are thrilled to be sharing one of Michelle’s teaching classes with CE readers: Garden for Bella which can be a wall hanging or a small table quilt or even the centre medallion of a larger quilt!
