2 Iron the Sheer Magic to the back of the 15in muslin squares and then iron the Quilt Magic to the back of all the matching sized fabric pieces.

3 Use the design software and transfer device to transfer:

From Sharman’s Vintage Garden Free CD: 360mm x 350mm hoop

svgbk14 (pillow No 2), svgbk02

(pillow No 1)

360mm x 200mm or 225mm x 140mm hoops

svg03, svg04, svg05 (pillow No 2), svg35, svg36 (pillow No 1)

4 Use the Template Magic printable sheets to print templates for designs: svg03 (one), svg04 (four), svg05 (four) for pillow No 2; svg35 (two), svg36 (four), svg37 (four) for pillow No 1.

5 Use the fabric-marking pen and quilting ruler to mark the 15in muslin squares with vertical, horizontal and diagonal lines that intersect through the centre of the squares.

EMBROIDERY 6 Use the embroidery foot, fine pre-wound bobbins, Jenny’s rayon-40 embroidery thread as listed in the materials in the Micotex- 80 needle and either Tearaway Magic hooped with the fabric or Hoop Magic self-adhesive tear-away stabiliser for the embroidery.

360mm x 350mm hoop

7 Hoop the 15in muslin square (centred in the hoop) with the Tearaway Magic and clip it in place. Use the basting/stay/set stitch to baste the fabric to the stabiliser in the hoop to embroider svgbk14 (pillow No 2) and svgbk02 (pillow No 1).

360mm x 200mm and 225mm x 140mm
hoops

NOTE: If using a 360mm x 200mm hoop you can use your software to either split the large designs or combine the individual designs to reduce the number of fabric hoopings.

8 Roughly cut out each embroidery design printed on the Template Magic and then use the photo as a guide to place the templates on the 15in square of muslin. Remove the protective backing from the Template Magic to stick the templates centred over the relevant divide lines on the 15in square of muslin, so the designs just touch and replicate the combination embroidery. Once you are satisfied with
