PILLOWS
From the Studio of Jenny and Simon Haskins

In the studio we are not privileged to have an embroidery machine with a
360mm x 350mm hoop capacity, so it is not surprising that Simon took
advantage of having the opportunity to use a machine with this capability
at a recent sewing machine convention he attended. Simon used two block
embroidery designs (that come on the Free CD that accompanies Sharman’s
Vintage Garden book by Jenny), to see how this large hoop worked. We
decided these large embroidered squares were too lovely not to be made up
into something so Robbie matched up the embroidery colours, of yellow and
lime green, with fabrics from our stash that matched perfectly to make these
stunning pillows. What a clever little duo Simon and Robbie are!
