Melann’s are renowned for their fabulous classes which take planning, time, effort and talent,
all of which they have in abundance. These glorious little handbag doorstoppers were made well
in advance of an upcoming class and Susan (one of the eager students) had a preview of them
but was sworn to secrecy. Susan kept the secret, but each club day would say “I cannot wait for
an upcoming class.” She announced the secret at the club just prior to the class with so much
glee that the class has been repeated and repeated. In honour of her enthusiasm and loyalty,
Regula and Bernadette named these fabulous little ‘handbags’ after Susan.
